PalmBeachPost reports from Jupiter, Florida a plan to build 348 rental units will force some 100 residents of Whitehaven Seniors Adult Park MHC to relocate. Jupiter-based FLF 1030 LLC says the company must close the sale of the property and then receive site use and zoning approval from the city before closing the community. In the meantime a representative of the developer says the company has made arrangements with Lakeshore Communities, which operates nearby MHCs, to accept the displaced residents, who could receive up to $10,000 for moving their homes and their possessions. The moving expense would be covered by Lakeshore and the Florida Mobile Home Relocation Trust Fund. MHProNews.com has learned those that do not move into a Lakeshore Community are still eligible for assistance. Representing the developer, Josh Simon says ?We?ll help them out, wherever they move.?
